If a price book entry (PBE) references a service template, the MRC (Monthly Recurring Cost) on the PBE can be synchronized with the MR Cost of the template (which is a total cost of template elements).
This enables product managers to update price book cost information as the way the products and services are built changes (e.g., a new, less expensive router type is used for an Internet access product).
To update MRC of the PBEs related with the template:
- Open template details
- Click Update Price Book Entries
- Select which PBEs are to be updated (only PBEs referencing the template are displayed)
- Confirm with OK
