When requesting changes to existing services via the Nextian Customer Portal, the price book currently associated with the service is used for actions such as updating add-ons, re-rating, or cancellations, as described in this section.
However, for new purchases made through the Shop menu in the Customer Portal, products available for online purchase are sourced from the price book marked with the Is Portal Pricebook attribute (only one price book can be designated as the portal price book).
To select a price book for online shopping:
- Log into Salesforce.
- Go to AppLauncher → Price Books.
- Identify the price book to be used for online sales.
- Open price book details.
- Click Edit.
- Check Is Portal Pricebook.
- Click Save.
