Configuring Standard Objects Layouts and Lightning Pages

Nextian provides custom page layouts & Lightning Record Pages for the following standard Salesforce objects:

  1. Product (Product2)
  2. Account
  3. Opportunity
  4. Quote
  5. Case
ImportantLayouts and lightning pages provided in the Nextian package are overwritten every time the package is updated, and changes are lost.

Also, it is likely that standard object layout customizations are already in place.

Therefore, it is recommended to use package provided layouts as a reference and add Nextian fields to already existing layouts.

To use the package-provided layouts as they are, for each object:

  1. Go to Setup → Object Manger
  2. Select object (e.g., Account)
  3. Go to Page Layouts
  4. Use Page Layout Assignments button to assign Service Analyzer layout to appropriate profiles
  5. Go to Lightning Record Pages
  6. Use Page Layout Assignments button to configure Nextian Record Pages for org, app and specific profiles

Otherwise, edit current layouts and add new fields using package-provided layouts as reference.
