Overview

Nextian is a Quote-to-Cash (QTC) software platform enabling comprehensive subscription service management, quoting (CPQ), order processing, customer support, up-sell opportunity detection and analytics for cloud and communications service providers.

The platform consists of several modules grouped into two packages:

The Nextian Salesforce Package (formerly known as Nextian Service Analyzer) enhances the standard Salesforce CRM with Quote-to-Cash (QTC) capabilities tailored for cloud and communications service providers. The package contains the following applications:

  • Product Management: Subscription product management & planning: products, price books, terms, renewals, provisioning workflows, build templates and profit & margin analytics.
  • CPQ & Sales: CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) and sales for subscription services.
  • Order Management: Post-sale subscription service order processing and fulfillment.
  • Service Management: Post-fulfillment subscription service management, analytics, and upgrade opportunity detection.
Nextian RMM (Remote Monitoring and Management) for monitoring networks, applications, and services as well as bridging information from third party monitoring systems, with the following key functions:

  • Monitor individual service elements: This includes applications, databases, network devices, network interfaces, and virtualization platforms. Monitoring is conducted directly or (preferably) by gathering data from third-party RMM/NMS/APM/Observability systems, such as SolarWinds Orion, Zabbix, SD-WAN orchestrators and others.
  • Run analytics and generates insights: Service status, availability and insights are derived from the collected data to improve service delivery and performance.
  • Push information to the CRM: Key information, such as alarms, service health metrics, availability timelines, and upgrade opportunities, is updated in the CRM.
  • Facilitate advanced ticketing scenarios such as automatic creation / closure of Salesforce cases based on service status.

Nextian RMM runs outside Salesforce either on premise or in the cloud (AWS, AZURE, Heroku or other).
