Nextian utilizes a combination of Google and other map APIs to display maps for service locations, account services, and more.
Additional map services — enhancing visualization and adding additional map layers — are optional and can be configured using AppLauncher → Nextian Settings → MAP APIs.
The following additional map services can be enabled:
- WeatherAPI – A service that provides detailed weather data map layers, including clouds, precipitation, sea level pressure, wind speed, and historical weather information.
- OpenWeatherMap – A weather service that offers real-time weather data based on location through APIs.
| Important | If API tokens are left empty in the settings, these additional features remain disabled. |
To integrate these services with Nextian maps:
- Create an account with the desired map service.
- Generate an API token in your account settings.
- Enter the API token in Nextian MAP APIs settings.
