Nextian CPQ natively supports requesting digital quote signatures via DocuSign (a separate contract with DocuSign and a DocuSign account are required).
A typical use scenario is as follows:
- A sales rep creates a quote PDF.
- Once the PDF is created, it can be submitted to DocuSign for signature: a DocuSign envelope is created and stored in quote’s DocuSign Envelope Id field.
- DocuSign sends an email with signature request to the quote recipient.
- Once the recipient signs the quote, Service Analyzer will automatically:
- Update quote status to Accepted,
- Close-win the opportunity and create an order,
- Attach the signed PDF file to the opportunity.
