Working with DocuSign

Nextian CPQ natively supports requesting digital quote signatures via DocuSign (a separate contract with DocuSign and a DocuSign account are required).

A typical use scenario is as follows:

  1. A sales rep creates a quote PDF.
  2. Once the PDF is created, it can be submitted to DocuSign for signature: a DocuSign envelope is created and stored in quote’s DocuSign Envelope Id field.
  3. DocuSign sends an email with signature request to the quote recipient.
  4. Once the recipient signs the quote, Service Analyzer will automatically:
    • Update quote status to Accepted,
    • Close-win the opportunity and create an order,
    • Attach the signed PDF file to the opportunity.
