To email a quote PDF document:
- Open quote details.
- Create and save quote PDF as described here.
- Click Email Quote action button.
- A standard Salesforce send email popup is displayed with the latest version of the quote PDF attached.
| Important | When requesting quote signature via DocuSign, the system automatically ensures that the quote PDF is up to date and no changes have been made to the quote since the PDF has been generated. However, sending quotes via email is a standard Salesforce functionality and Salesforce does not check if attached PDF is up to date — it is up to the user to ensure that the PDF is current. |
