To prevent invalid orders from being created, only opportunities with valid, syncing quotes can be Closed Won.
Quote validation is performed automatically as follows:
- Each quote line item is validated individually.
- If all line items are valid, the entire quote is considered valid.
- If a quote has no line items, it is deemed invalid.
| Under normal circumstances, the Nextian user interface prevents the entry of invalid quote line items. However, line items may become invalid over time; for example, a disconnect line item might reference a service that is no longer active or has been deleted. To re-validate the item and the entire quote, simply edit the line item and provide the missing information. |
