Line items on quotes are sequentially ordered, with each item assigned a unique number:
- Line items are numbered consecutively, e.g., 1, 2, 3, etc.
- Part line items, if present, are numbered 1.1, 1.2, 1.3, etc.
- A new line item is always added as the last one.
- When a line item is deleted, subsequent line items are automatically renumbered to maintain sequence.
Occasionally, it is beneficial to arrange items on a quote in a specific order. The order of items can be adjusted using the following actions: Move Up, Move Down, Move to Top and Move to Bottom as shown below:
