Exporting Quotes to Excel

Quote data can be exported to Microsoft Excel spreadsheets two ways:

• Using clipboard copy & paste
• Downloading quote data as a spreadsheet

Using clipboard copy & paste

This method preserves some of the formatting as well as links to Salesforce objects:

1. Open quote details
2. Navigate source tab to be copied (e.g., Quote Summary)
3. Click Copy to clipboard icon
4. Start Microsoft Excel
5. Open a blank workbook
6. Click paste

Downloading quote data as a spreadsheet

This will download data from all quote tabs without formatting/links:

1. Open quote details
2. Click Download as Excel action button
3. The quote file (in .xls format) will be downloaded to the browser download location
4. Double click on the file to open it in Microsoft Excel
