Quote PDF Templates

Quote PDFs are generated using an embedded version of the Nextian ‘PDF Generator’ product (no additional license is required; it is already included in the package).

PDF templates do not have a menu tab in any of the Nextian Salesforce Apps but are available via App Launcher → PDF Templates.

Managing quote templates

To manage all quote templates:

1. Go to App Launcher → PDF Templates.
2. Select Quote Templates list view.

Creating a quote template

1. Go to App Launcher → PDF Templates.
2. Click New.
3. Provide Template Name — this name is used later for selection which template to use to create a quote PDF.
4. Enter Quote in Object Name — the PDF generator can generate PDFs against objects, only templates with Quote object name are available for selection when creating quote PDFs.
5. Enter Template PDF — markup for PDF generation (HTML5 with PDF generation support).
