Creating New Quote Templates

To create a new quote template:

  1. Go to AppLauncher → Quote Item Templates
  2. Click New
  3. Populate required Name and optional fields such as Description
  4. Save the template (at this stage the template will be invalid as there is no XML)
  5. Create or find source quote for the template (the quote may contain only new items with add-ons)
  6. Click Update From Quote action on the template
  7. Select the quote (search by quote name or number) and click Create
  8. The template will be saved and validated
  9. A saved template, even though valid must be activated
