Logging In

To access the Nextian RMM User Interface (UI), use the URL that maps port 8080 inside the Docker container to an external port — e.g., http://docker.nextian.com:8080/ (see Installation).

Important Important: Since Nextian RMM typically runs on a private network, ensure that you are connected to that network (e.g., via VPN) before attempting to log in.

Follow these steps to log into Nextian RMM:

  1. Open a web browser.
  2. Enter the Nextian RMM URL (e.g., http://docker.nextian.com:8080/).
  3. Wait for the login dialog to appear.
  4. Enter the username and password (the defaults “admin” and “pass”).
  5. Click Log In.
Important Users will be automatically logged out after a period of inactivity, as determined by the SERVER_SERVLET_SESSION_TIMEOUT configuration parameter.
