Overview

Nextian is a Quote-to-Cash software platform enabling comprehensive subscription service management, quoting (CPQ), order processing, customer support, up-sell opportunity detection and analytics for cloud and communications service providers.

The platform consists of several modules grouped into two packages:

Nextian Salesforce Package (f.k.a. Nextian Service Analyzer) — extending the standard Salesforce CRM with Quote-to-Cash (QTC) capabilities for cloud and communications service providers containing the following apps:

  • CPQ & Sales: CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) and sales for subscription services.
  • Order Management: Post-sale subscription service order processing and fulfillment.
  • Service Management: Post-fulfillment subscription service management, analytics, and upgrade opportunity detection.
  • Product Management: Subscription product management & planning: products, price books, terms, renewals, provisioning workflows, build templates and profit & margin analytics.
Nextian RMM (Remote Monitoring and Management) for monitoring networks, applications, and services as well as bridging information from third party monitoring systems, with the following key functions:

  • Monitor physical components of managed services (applications, databases, network devices, network interfaces, virtualization, etc.) directly or by retrieving this information from third party RMM/NMS/APM/Observability systems.
  • Run analytics.
  • Push information to Salesforce CRM (e.g., alarms, service health, availability timeline, etc.).
  • Facilitate advanced ticketing scenarios such as automatic creation / closure of Salesforce cases.
