A Nextian/Salesforce service that is already linked with a billing service (or a subscription) can be manually canceled in the billing system from Salesforce.
While cancellation orders are typically created from the Customer Portal or cancel Quote Line Items and processed by work orders and automation, the manual option is useful for testing and troubleshooting.
To manually cancel a service in billing:
- Log into Salesforce.
- Open the services view (App Launcher → Services).
- Identify the desired service and open its details view.
- Click the Billing action button (a pop-up will appear with further options).
- Click Cancel/Deactivate — the service is canceled in billing (the billing system should automatically calculate ETL amounts, if applicable).
